About
Venture out to the Isle of Bute with us on a day trip to stunning Kilchattan Bay! I've done this hike before and it is one of the best experiences I've had in Scotland with incredible views across to the mainland and Arran. Fingers crossed for good weather and a smooth crossing - plans will be adjusted if it looks stormy!
This event is part of LEAP Sports Festival Fortnight.

Meeting time: 9:45 AM How to get there: Train from Glasgow Central to Wemyss Bay at 8:47 arrives at 9:45 (we'll meet upon arrival). We will then get the ferry to Rothesay at 10:05 and the 490 bus to Kilchattan Bay at 10:47. The walk should take us from roughly 11:30-15:00, allowing us to catch the 15:20 bus back to Rothesay and the 16:00 return ferry, arriving back in Wemyss Bay at 16:35 and Glasgow Central at 17:59.
