Join PORC & CORC for a hike at beautiful Silver Falls State Park. If you’ve never been, you’re in for a treat and will soon realize Oregon’s largest State Park is a real gem. We will meet at 10am in the South Falls day-use parking lot by the Creekside Picnic Shelter. After gathering the crew and exchanging pleasantries, we will embark on the 4.8mi Trail of Ten Falls Short Loop. With 910ft of elevation gain, the trail is rated as moderate and will take roughly 2hrs and 20mins. The scenery is gorgeous and the waterfalls are stunning. After our hike, we will have a bbq lunch in the Creekside Shelter!
Canyon trail, where most of the falls are seen, is NOT dog friendly. If you are one that desparately wishes to bring your fido, be sure to state so in the registration questions. We will designate a different hike route for you all to do in place or you might come earlier and do the route with your pup(s) and then the falls route with the group - just be sure to use pet mode !

These can be purchased on-site or if you plan to possibly visit other state parks requiring a day pass, you can get a 1 or 2yr pass online. They will mail the official pass to you, but also send you a temp pass in your email. Here's a link to purchase -
