About
Brooklyn Trail is heading back to a group favorite: Arden Point and Sugar Loaf Hill in Garrison, NY.
Come traverse through a bamboo forest (yes, bamboo!), up a mountain (that's called a "hill"), and end with a group picnic on what should be a beautiful spring day (if the weather forecast remains true...).
When: Sunday, 4/26 8:56am train departs from Grand Central 10:12am arrival at Garrison
Where: Arden Point + the Glenclyffe loop, ending with a climb up Sugarloaf Hill.
Maps: 7-ish mile option:

6-ish mile option:
https://www.strava.com/routes/3344062454662177088
What to expect: A mostly runnable trail that is beginner to moderate friendly. Trail shoes recommended.
What to bring: Snacks and hydration for the run AND bring lunch for a parking lot picnic post-run.
This trail is right next to the train station, which is a bonus, but there’s no town to grab food in afterwards. So pack a lunch and we’ll bring some drinks and snacks to share as well.
Bag check: Yes! Dogs welcome: Yes! Questions: Let us know if in the chat.
