DESCRIPTION AND EXPECTATION OF LEVEL OF PLAY: This is Coed indoor volleyball for Advanced players. We will be running a 6-2 or 5-1 offense, probably utilizing different types of sets (ie. shoots, slides, 31's, etc.) This level will consists of play characterized by a high level of speed, power and consistency. Note: Hosts may move people to ‘not going’ if you do not fit this profile If you are new and not sure what level you are, you can sign up and you will be evaluated that night to determine if you are at the appropriate skill level. If you are not quite at this level, you can still sign up in the future, but you need to wait until 48 hours before this event begins
FORMAT: The number of attendees and format will be final at 3pm on the day of the event. We typically cap the event at 12 players but hosts will decide what format to follow depending on how many are on the waitlist according to the below:
12 signups: 6 vs 6 13-14 signups: 6+L vs 6(+L) 15-18 signups: 3 team format (each set goes to 21 straight)
For first timers, get on waitlist even if full and you will probably get in. We love meeting new people.
ATTENDANCE EXPECTATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY: If you register to attend, we are counting on you to be there...so do not sign up, if you are unlikely to come.  Please move yourself from the "going" to the "not going" list as soon as you know you can't make it, but preferably prior to the day of the event. Drops after noon the day of the event are discouraged as we need to allow the next person on the waitlist time to be notified.  If you no-show more than once you, you may get bumped to the back of the waitlist or may not be able to sign up for this event again.  In general, 3 same-day drops or 3 late showings = 1 no-show and 2 no-shows = bottom of the list.  This event WILL be cancelled if there are 11 or fewer signups within 3hrs prior to event start.
Quick reminder: All participants must have a current CRC membership pass to play.
