The Perfect Class for Beginner Fly Anglers
Beginning April 18th for the 2026 Season! ... If you've ever thought about getting into the world of fly fishing, but haven't known where to begin, this is the PERFECT class for you! Completely free of charge, this two hour course will walk you through everything you need to know to get out on the water for the first time. We introduce you to the essential fly fishing equipment, the basics of rigging, and the fundamentals of fly casting. We hold our Orvis 101 classes every Saturday at 10am inside the shop, and we'd love to see you there! There's no signup, so all you have to do is show up with a smiling face and an eager attitude! Each class is taught by one of our expert guides or industry professionals, ensuring you get the best experience possible! We understand that getting into fly fishing can be an intimidating task, and we are dedicated to providing you with a stress-free, simple, and effective way of introducing you to the sport we love so much!
