No Runner is left behind - we run as a group :) A safe space to talk about mental health
Run Talk Run Ipswich is a weekly 5km gentle jog. Meeting at the Isaacs on Ipswich Waterfront at 18:00 and starting at 18:05ish. Before every run there is a window of time to meet the other runners and say hello to the run leader.
It's alright if you're a little anxious and quiet - we 'get it' at Run Talk Run. It's important that everyone knows that the run is gentle and that there is no pressure to "keep up", and that at the forefront of our runs is support...a safe space to chat first, running second.
We are a free mental health running support group that exists to make both running and mental health support less intimidating and more accessible. Run and talk, free from judgement or competition. We meet weekly, running a gentle 5k and supporting each other by creating a safe space to talk about how we are really feeling. All head spaces are welcomed: mental health support first, running second. A 5km gentle jog, a walk or a run - all abilities, beginners encouraged.
Please note, we cannot guarantee a bag drop so please don’t bring any valuables as you may not be able to leave them behind during the run.
