About
Join us for a morning of restoration at Lake Sammamish State Park! We’re heading to Lake Sammamish State Park on Saturday, May 16th to help with a restoration project! It’s a great way for us to connect, get some fresh air, and give back to the beautiful park for all to enjoy. We'll be helping to remove invasive species and clear the way for native plants to thrive.
Details:
Date: Saturday, May 16th, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Activity: Invasive plant removal/habitat restoration. Most likely removing blackberry brambles & live staking native species such as Willows & Dogwoods.
RSVP: Make sure to RSVP through the link provided as they do a headcount at each event and more info is provided with the confirmation email.
Prep: Sturdy waterproof shoes, long pants, and layers you don’t mind getting a little dirty and/or wet depending on the rain!
Friends of Lake Sammamish provides all the tools and info ahead of the event start, so no experience is needed.
Make sure to register here (it's a free event - the donation portion is not required!):
