Our friends from Sambazon will join our run on April 22nd to celebrate Earth Day! Sambazon has committed to ensuring all of its retail and foodservice packaging will be made from recycled or plant-based materials and will be recyclable or compostable by 2030.
In the spirit of sustainability, anyone who brings a new or gently used article of clothing will receive a FREE acai bowl after the run.
5K run with our front run leader holding a 9:00/mi pace. We run accordion style, meaning we have 3 pre-designated stops along the route where we wait 2-3 minutes before continuing the run. This allows most runners at a slower pace to catch up and stay with the group.
