About
Strong, Tired, and Still Showing Up Mental Health, Well-Being, Self-Care & Collectivism Many of us are used to being the strong one—the one who shows up, holds it together, and keeps things moving, even when we’re exhausted. But what happens when strength starts to feel like depletion? In this Let’s Talk About It session, we’ll explore the tension between showing up for others and taking care of ourselves. Together, we’ll unpack how mental health, rest, responsibility, and community support intersect—and what it looks like to shift from doing everything alone to being supported collectively. This is a space for honest conversation around questions like: What does it mean to be “strong” when you’re tired? When does showing up become overextending? How do we balance self-care with care for others? What role does community play in sustaining our well-being? Let’s Talk About It is a Wellness Town Hall & Community Healing Forum—not a lecture or therapy session. It’s a facilitated, psychologically safe space where community voices lead and lived experiences guide the conversation. Come as you are. Listen, reflect, and participate in whatever way feels right for you.
