Welcome to the Seattle Foodies Meetup at Rainier Restaurant and BBQ!
Get ready for an evening of incredible food and great conversation! We are thrilled to check out Rainier Restaurant. Despite the "BBQ" in the name, this neighborhood gem is famous for its authentic Vietnamese cuisine and incredibly friendly staff.
While everyone is completely welcome to order their own individual dishes, they also offer amazing family-style meals if a few of us want to team up and share. If we are feeling adventurous, a group of us might even have to tackle their legendary whole-fried catfish—a massive, crispy dish served with fresh herbs and rice paper for building your own wraps!
Getting There:
The restaurant is located at 6400 Martin Luther King Jr Way S. We highly recommend taking the light rail, as the restaurant is just a short walk north from the Othello Station. There is a small parking lot and some street parking available if you choose to drive.
Important Details:
Arrival Time: The event starts at 6:00 PM. Please aim to be on time!
Table Release at 6:30 PM: Out of respect for the restaurant, we will be releasing any unclaimed seats and tables back to the staff at exactly 6:30 PM. If you arrive after this time, we cannot guarantee you a spot with the group.
RSVP Courtesy: If your plans change, please update your RSVP immediately so someone else can take your spot. Please do not bring additional guests unless they are officially registered through this event page.
