About
There is a scheduled replant day that will be supervised by RDCO Rangers and wildfire recovery manager.
Objective: There will be ponderosa seedling plugs, grass plugs and deciduous live stakes replanted on approximately 1 hectare. Despite this being a small section, it will be an educational session for future planting of the crown land portion outside the park boundaries once approval is granted from the ministry. Planting bags and shovels will be provided so no need to bring your favourite digging tool.
The number of volunteers will dictate how many seedlings will be provided that day so it is important to RSVP by Wednesday April 1st. (No this is not an April Fools joke). 😉
Let’s make Rose Valley trails great again!
Edit: Moving time from 9:45 to 9:30 for allowable time for safety briefing and planting
