Join us for a dreamy night of poetry, live music, dance, and fashion at the breathtaking Saint Joseph's Art Society. Brought to you by Baruch Porras Hernandez, Rhea Joseph, Liz Cahill and Decentered Arts.
Dress Code: Forbidden Fruit🍇 - mysterious masquerade, red velvet, and black lace; desirable, anonymous, fruity and forbidden. Or take it in a more playful direction with strawberry and cherry printed jumpsuits and dresses. Help us bring the night alive🍒🍑 Ps. The venue is heated
​Enjoy the Debut of the Forbidden Words Quilt Project. Led by Lorraine Woodruff-Long and Trisha Hickey, Forbidden Words is an international community quilt project highlighting the 384 words and phrases that have been banned or scrubbed from U.S. government communications as identified by
PENAmerica.org
. Throughout Fall 2025, individual quilt blocks featuring the banned words have been handmade by over 200 participant contributors representing every state in the U.S. and 6 countries around the world. Learn more here:

About Decentered Arts: Decentered Arts is an artist-led 501c3 nonprofit building inclusive, accessible cultural spaces in San Francisco. We host 200+ public programs annually ranging from open mics, poetry readings, fashion shows, art exhibitions, writers group, songwriters group and more.
