Get ready for some wildly creative fun!
Join the City of Coronado Recreation Department for the Zoo’s Who Workshop, where kids can turn fruits and vegetables into imaginative animal creations using toothpicks, creativity, and fresh produce.
This fun and interactive class is a great opportunity for kids to create an entry for the 2026 Coronado Flower Show Youth Exhibit taking place April 18–19 in Spreckels Park.
Recreation staff will guide participants as they design their edible zoo animals. Creations made in the class can be entered into the Flower Show Youth Division.
Important Details
• Ages: 3–14 • Children ages 3–7 must participate with a parent • Cost: $10 • Hosted by the City of Coronado Recreation Department • Max participants: 100
