BARC 4x4 Day at Tumey Hills — Saturday, April 4
Come join us for a fun, low-key 4x4 Day trip out to Tumey Hills.
We’ll meet at 10:00 AM sharp at the Tesla Supercharger in Firebaugh: 46272 W Panoche Rd, Firebaugh, CA 93622.
This is meant to be a super friendly intro to off-road outing — a great chance to get some dirt under your tires in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Any 4x4 is welcome, and this trip is super stock-friendly. Any wheel/tire size is welcome. We’ll air down a bit before heading out and talk through why airing down helps and when it makes sense.
The plan is to head into Tumey Hills, explore a bit, find a spot for lunch, and enjoy an easy day out together. Bring your own lunch, water, and anything else you’ll want for a comfortable day outside. Please also come with enough fuel or charge for the day and a vehicle in good working order.
This is a VERY family-friendly, dog-friendly trip and should be a super easy, low-key day overall. The one note is that we do pass a shooting range near the start of the trail, so keep that in mind if you’re bringing kids or dogs.
If you have a GMRS radio, bring it. If not, no problem — CJ will have a few to share.
Also, if you’ve been meaning to pick up any MORRFLATE or GlueTread gear, feel free to let CJ know ahead of time and he can bring some along.
This is a BARC-led event, and we’d love to have both members and friends join us.
