IT'S OUR FIRST HIKE OF 2026! Join us on the 3rd Sundays, most months, for a different hike around Atlanta and North Georgia
Please note: Hikerodose events are only for contributing members of our community (who donate monthly) and for those who have come in for a private sacrament ceremony with our ministers in the past 12 months.

This Hikerodose will be on Sun, Mar 22 from 12pm-5pm, moderate difficulty, in beautiful Stone Mountain Park (30-45 min east of downtown Atlanta)
TRAIL:
https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/georgia/stone-mountain-cherokee-loop-trail
DURATION / DIFFICULTY:
It's a 5.1 mile loop leaving plenty of room in the beginning and end to talk and get to know each other. The trail has minimal elevation change and a variety of interesting views. Depending on weather conditions we may walk up one steep section, or not. There are beautiful lake views with root-filled sections. It is also well-marked with informative signs about the wildlife and plants along the way.
ENTRANCE:
6864 James B Rivers Memorial Dr, Stone Mountain, GA 30083
MEETING LOCATION:
When you drive up to the South Woods Gate (entrance), you'll either pay a day pass fee $20 or perhaps show your annual pass $40.
DO NOT TURN RIGHT to the "walk up trail"
DO TURN LEFT and drive until you enter the Purple zone. Park at #13 on the map, the Washington W King Bridge (either before or after the bridge) We will meet at the bridge itself near the port-a-potties.
✔️Shoes with good tread

KIDS:
Children are welcome as long as they are old enough to keep up on this hike or can be carried on your back
PETS:
Dogs are allowed. We just ask that they be well behaved and not a distraction.
PARKING:
You can park on either side of the Washington W. King bridge. If it happens to be full, you can turn around and park in the Grist Mill lot and then walk back to the meeting point.
FORMAT:
12:00pm - Arrive and bring everything you need in a backpack
12:15pm - Circle up for introductions, intention setting and subtle sacrament
12:30pm - Possible movement and mindfulness practice when we find some open green space (Thai Chi or Qi Gong) led by one of our members -- beginner friendly
1:00pm - Hike to midpoint, have lunch / picnic and discussion
3:30pm - Begin return trip back to parking lot
5:00pm - Closing circle and departure
The focus of this gathering is communion with sacrament at a level that everyone will be present and feel more connected to each other and nature.
Expect an elevated mood and sense of well-being.
The vibe will be warm and supportive. We always end up in the deep end of existential topics.
We lead with vulnerability and we welcome yours.
