About
Come join for a board game night at Pieces Board Game Bar and Cafe hosted by the St Louis Area Board Gamers Facebook group! What is great is that the library fee is waived for this event, so you can game for FREE at Pieces!
Note that although there might not be many RSVP's here in this event, there are usually a minimum of 10 people from the Facebook event that show up regularly without RSVPing anywhere. I recommend arriving by 6:10 at the latest since by that time, everyone has split up into groups and you may have to wait for an hour or longer for a second round of games, if people choose to do a second round.
We will be in the separate, private, "jail cell" room, not inside the main bar. To find the group, enter the main entrance of the building on S. 12th St, walk straight towards the glass doors for Pieces, but before you arrive to those doors there will be a doorway along the left side of the hallway to a room of jail cells, and group members will be gathering in there or sitting in the three jail cell booths. It is the only doorway on the left side of the hallway and only room with multiple jail cells. If this is confusing, simply ask an employee in the main bar and they can guide you to the board game group.
We play all sorts of different games. Some of the popular titles include Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne, King of Tokyo, Secret Hitler, Bang: The Dice Game, and SO many others. Myself and others bring parts of our collections to share and play, so feel free to bring your own games to share. Even if you have never played some of the games before, everyone will be more than happy to teach you how to play!
Parking consists of free parking on the streets. Anheuser-Busch owns the parking lot across the street from the bar and it is not open to public parking at this time.
Feel free to come by, grab a pint, rolls some dice / play some cards / collect some cubes, and meet-up with some fantastic other people!
