Walk, at a brisk pace, on the Boise River Greenbelt for three miles upstream along one side of the river to the Broadway Ave Bridge and back along the opposite side of the river. If you do not want to do the entire six-mile walk, you can turn back at any time.
Meet at Esther Simplot/ White Water Park parking lot at 9:00 AM. This is the parking area closest to the river, after crossing the small bridge that is in the park.
Dress for the weather. It is always an unknown! Even though some of us thrive in the cold and wet conditions along the river, if it too extreme, the hike will be canceled.
