What if you could join a dance performance without memorizing choreography? Flocks of birds, schools of fish, swarms of ants—they all move together through shared rules, not rigid routines. Join us to explore how humans can do the same.
The lab begins with facilitation by Evan Johnson, followed by an open session where you can propose new rules for the group exploration. Please bring a scarf or bandana!
Evan Johnson (he/they) is a San Francisco–based cultural producer and theatre maker with 15+ years of experience creating playful, embodied creative spaces rooted in physical theater and collaborative performance.
