Join the Great Malden Outdoors and friends for a Black History Month tribute trail run commemorating Matthew Henson, the first Black man, and one of the first humans, to reach the North Pole in 1909.

Following the run/walk, participants will have the option to make their way to Malden City Hall, 215 Pleasant St., Malden, MA 02148, where National Geographic Historian and journalist James Edward Mills will give a presentation about Henson: https://joytripproject.com/about-joy-trip-project/
