The HFC Striders are a running club consisting mainly of women's and men's distance runners who compete in open and masters races. We participate in races varying from the mile to the marathon. Most of our races are on the roads, however we also compete in track and cross country events, and relays.

Most of our members join us for the rigor and structure of our group training program. However, we also understand the need for balance between our running avocation and other important commitments, especially family and careers. We attempt to maximize the training opportunities of our group runs. A key club goal is to participate in as many racing events throughout New England as we can, with a focus on camaraderie, teamwork and fun.
