The Adult Recess Festival is the biggest adult recess experience in America and the only adult wellness festival built entirely around play, joy, and human connection.
Every spring, thousands of grown-ups hit Raleigh to turn the city into one giant adult-only playground. Stress takes a back seat, responsibilities get paused, and fun becomes the priority.
This three-day experience is intentionally curated for connection. It’s about more than just play, it’s about owning our joy, reclaiming our wholeness, and returning to community!
That’s why people come from across the country and the Caribbean: the world is craving spaces built for joy, togetherness, and real human interaction.

🎶 DJ Moeskieno & the Global Dance Party
When the sun starts to go down, the biggest dance party of the year takes over. DJ Moeskieno spins beats that get everyone moving & losing themselves to the rhythm. Cousin Cam joins the party, putting YOU on the big screen for all to see. It’s music, movement, and joy turned up to the max.
