B.U.S. will continue our partnership with Martin Street Baptist Church on a monthly basis and we need YOUR help!! Do you have a few hours to spare to help those in need? Please join us!!
Martin Street Baptist Church's Blessings in Bags will take place on the 2nd Saturday of every month.
All volunteers are asked to arrive between 8:00 and 8:30 am.
Parking is available in the lot on the State Street side of the sanctuary. There will be a brief orientation for first time volunteers before starting the preparation, and distribution process.
Our preparation and distribution process will take place outdoors, in the parking lot facing Tarboro Rd.
Current CDC COVID guidance indicates wearing a mask is not required. Masks will be available for those who desire to wear one. Aprons, and gloves will be provided.
Please dress comfortably. It is important you wear closed toe shoes, a cap, hat or other head covering. If you are not feeling well, please wait to serve at another time.
Our goal is to safely, effectively, and efficiently prepare food boxes for pickup by members of the Wake County community.
The distribution process will begin no later than 10:00 am and should conclude at or before 12pm noon.
