Come on out to the best basement club in town at Club VIVA for their Thursday Latin nights with plenty of Salsa and Bachata and more! The great thing is you don't even need to know how to dance to join, because they have free beginner lessons starting at about 8:30 and going until about 9:45! You will learn everything you need to know to to go out on the dance floor without tripping when the real dancing starts at 10 PM. If you still don't feel ready after the lessons, then don't fret...grab your drink and simply watch everyone else to see how it's done! There can be some very talented dancers to watch!
There is an $12 cover to enter the club, which includes the free dance lessons. Ladies that arrive before 9 PM don't have to pay the cover fee!
If you haven't been there before, it is located across the street from Up-Down Arcade Bar. It is a basement club, so to enter you have to go down the stairs located under the awning seen in the cover photo.
After 10 PM, the club comes alive with plenty of Latin dancing until 1:30 AM; I plan on leaving around 11 PM, thus the end time of this meetup event, but don't let me stop you from enjoying the rest of the night! Put on those dancing shoes and see you all there!
