Due to the nature of our work, and engagement in it by you our members, our community partner - Camino Ultra - has allocated a number of places for Black Trail Runners members at their Epping Forest 50k 2026 race.
About: This is the 6th Edition of this trail classic. The event starts in Wanstead Flats and makes its way south to north through all the green spaces of East London leading up to and through the wonders of Epping Forest. This is a hilly and possibly muddy ultra that could be a fabulous challenge for those runners more familiar with fast and flat events. As an out and back you are never too far from a Camino Aid station that will be well stocked with great food and ultramarathon goodies. As the event is in October we may be lucky enough to get a challenging muddy enviroment to go with the hilly and sweeping terrain. The course will be well marked and with plenty of marshalls and there will be aid stations with our usual high quality of nutritional food and drink. Trophies for 1st Female, 1st Non-Binary and 1st Male are one-off carved wood pieces for Epping Forest 2026.
