Meet at Lower Miller Canyon parking at 4:30 p.m. for a three-mile round-trip hike up the Creek Trail. Turn around at the upper parking lot and return on the road.
We’ll maintain a steady and brisk pace to complete the hike before dark. Dogs are permitted, but their owners must keep them on a leash.
Hikers who are particularly slow may need to bring a companion to ensure they don’t hike alone. While most hikers look out for one another, this is entirely voluntary. If you’re too slow and hikers pass you on the way back down, it’s best to turn around and walk back with them.
Please remember that all hikes are at your own risk.
Before you embark on your hike, make sure to bring a headlamp or flashlight, water, electrolytes, weather-appropriate clothing, and comfortable hiking shoes or boots. Trekking poles can be helpful for navigating rocky terrain and water crossings.
