This will be our third year attending Timberline ski area with Freedom Shredders for their Juneteenth Freedom Shred. There are several hotels, including Timberline Lodge at the mountain and in the town of Government Camp or Hood River. There is also camping nearby.
Pertinent information about tickets from Freedom Shred:
*We’re not selling physical tickets. We essentially have coupons/vouchers you can use to purchase a $40 ticket from Timberline. You get access to one of those as a bonus to ordering merchandise.
With the standard ticket being $124, the merch + voucher deal comes out to $105 spent instead. That saves folks $20, gets them something tangible (a shirt) for the money they’ve spent, and helps us cover event expenses like feeding everyone. I thought the first page of the form pointed that out clearly, although not in as much detail.

You can choose to attend 2 or 3 days or just Juneteenth. It’s up to you! However, the discounted ticket is for Juneteenth only!

Welcome to registration for the 4th annual Freedom Shred Juneteenth Celebration! We're thrilled to welcome lots of new faces and welcome back the OGs. All of you are the driving force behind the Freedom Shred movement, and this community we're building wouldn't be possible without you! We thank you, and we appreciate you!
We've got a great schedule for you this year, with plenty of opportunities for activity and fellowship beyond just snowboarding! Here's a look at the our tentative schedule so far:
Thursday - 6/18: Golf Outing @ Mt. Hood Oregon Resort Golf Course
Format: 4-Player Scramble - All abilities welcome!
Cost: $125/player - Includes Golf, Cart, Special Edition FS Golf Hat, Goodie Bag with Oakley swag, and Raffle Entry for Nike/Jordan premium golf bags!!
Time: TBD - Estimating around 10-11:00AM
Location: 68010 East Fairway Avenue, Welches, Oregon, 97067

Friday - 6/19: All-day Juneteenth Celebration
7:30 -9:00AM: Check-in
10:00-Noon: Group Shred
1:00-2:00PM: Fathers day celebration lap
4:00PM: Fish Fry Friday! Tailgate cookout
Saturday - 6/20: Group Hike and Fireside Chat

7:30AM: Depart for Old Salmon River Trailhead
7:45AM: Begin group hike
