To celebrate the growing popularity of Pokemon Legends Z-A, we will be hosting a competition! The competition is free to all--and will be raffle-based. Final prizes will be raffled out, and chances to win are based on participation, as well as performance in the tournament.
All times given are within 15 minutes (for example, we may start the competition 15 minutes earlier or later).
Tournament registration/preparation will happen from 2pm to 3pm. Tournament wiill start at 3pm. The competition is expected to conclude by 5pm, at which point we will be announcing and raffling out prizes.
Battle format will be focused on three or four player battle royale**
Tournament rules are based on ranked battles season 4:
Eligible Pokémon for Ranked Battles Season 4 includes Lumiose Pokédex No. 001–227 and Hyperspace Pokédex No. 001–112. You can register Pokémon from Lv. 1 to Lv. 100, but all Pokémon will automatically be set to Lv. 50 during battles. No more than one Pokémon with the same Pokédex number may be used.
Held Items
Pokémon are allowed to hold items, though no duplicate held items are allowed.
To get to the event space, take the 1 to 66th St station, or you can take the express via the ABCD train to Columbus Circle. In case of a sudden change in venue (as sometimes the Atrium will announce events/private gatherings on short notice, keep an eye on the event space for updates!
**Date and time subject to change based on the Atrium's event calendar. It is highly unlikely that the date/time will change less than a week away from the event.
