Winter is here, and so is the winter edition of our Storytelling Chapter: SNOWY TALES.
Prepare your coldest adventure and warm up with us around the fire.
We are teaming up with The Line Smith for an afternoon that blends community, gear, and stories.
1.
We kick off the day with a Club session.
Enter the water with your surfboard, or enjoy the windy weather kiting in our beloved North Sea.
At the same time, join the Gear Pit Stop on the shore: The Line Smith will help you check, tune, and prepare your kite equipment for the new year, because staying safe in the water starts with taking care of your gear.
2.
As the sun goes down, we gather for Storytelling Night by the fire inside the Maui room at Aloha.
Share your favourite Wavers memory, your wildest surf trip, or that moment that shaped your surf life.
3.
Instead of a formal dinner, we keep it easy, warm, and informal around the fire.
Aloha’s kitchen will be open, so you can grab dinner or a snack whenever you like and enjoy it while listening to the stories.
One last session. One last story. One last celebration before the new year.
🆕 BEGINNER? ➕ PLUS ONE? NO PROBLEM!
Wavers SC welcomes surfers and kiters of any level.
Never surfed or kited before? No worries, we’ll introduce you to kite control at the beach in total safety.
Or just come to relax, meet our community and join the activities,
And as always, everyone is welcome. Bring your friends, share the vibes, and close the year with the Wavers family.
🗓️ SCHEDULE
14:30 - Meet us at the Wavers flag to kick off the day with a club surf or kite session & The Pit Stop with The Line Smith
17:00 bonfire, Story Telling, drinks and food.
• Aloha Wijk aan Zee is reachable by car, and there is free parking nearby. Use the chat function or our WA Forum to share a ride with other club members.
• Surf board & kiting rental: contact Noordpier Surf Shop
•Bag drop is available at Aloha. Ask us where it is possible to change upon arrival.
Please note that we cannot take responsibility for any valuables, so we recommend securing them elsewhere.
•To register: Just click "Going" in the app.
•To check in: When you arrive at the location, you can check yourself in with the app (the number of presences at our events will count in the future toward getting goodies, merch, etc.).
•Participation in water sports and general physical activities involves inherent risks. By taking part in this event, individuals acknowledge and accept full responsibility for their actions and safety in and out of the water.
