The 112th in NJveg’s hiking/walking + vegan dining series will start at Turkey Swamp Park (brochure, trail info). We’ll meet at the Oak Point parking area, north of the lake (200 Georgia Rd, Freehold, NJ 07728; GPS coordinates 40°11'49.2"N 74°18'12.4"W) and hike for ~3 miles, or optionally ~5.
Afterward, we’ll head to the Vegan in NJ Monthly Market (at American Legion Post 346, 21 Gully Rd, Neptune Township, NJ 07753) for dining and shopping. Please RSVP here.
If there’s a lot of rain prior, we may move the hike to Shark River Park (as Turkey Swamp Park can be quite wet). If there’s rain forecast on Sunday, we’ll head to the market at noon with the hike rain date TBD. We’ll update NJveg’s website event calendar accordingly.
