'RUNNING THE NIGHT'
Date: Sunday 18 January
Time: 3:00pm – 7.00pm
Location: Orion Runners HQ, Bury Road, Epping Forest, E4 7QJ
Join us for our first Trail Taster day of the new year on Sunday 18 January 2026 in Epping Forest!
This trail taster will be taking place with support from Camino Ultra and Petzl.
This trail taster will cover ALL aspects of night running including:
What to expect whilst night running
Discussions of night running techniques
Head torch kit demo and testing with Petzl
Night running 'drills workshop' (allowing you to practice night running on hills)
Social 5K run
CATERING: Black Trail Runners will be providing a light dinner so please indicate if you have any dietary restrictions below.
TRANSPORTATION: We know that transportation costs can be a barrier to access. If you would like support getting to and from Epping forest, please indicate below.
This trail taster day is provided to Black Trail Runners members free of charge.
Places will be capped at 30, so don't delay in getting your name on the registration list.
The deadline for applications is 23.59pm Monday 29 December. Successful applicants will be contacted by Monday 5 January.
