CFA Giving Back – Christmas in October Food Drive
Throughout October, CFA will be collecting food donations at every CFA event to support Christmas in October, a community-wide effort to fight food insecurity.
📅 Collection Month: All October events
📍 Final Delivery: Friday, October 30 at 9:00 AM – Imperial Beach Neighborhood Center Food Pantry
How to Help:
• Bring food donations to any CFA event this October
• If you can’t attend an event, you may also donate personally – message Shannon Canu privately to arrange drop-off or pick-up.
• RSVP here in Heylo to stay up to date on reminders and details
🥫Food Suggestions:
• Canned meats, vegetables, and fruit
• Pasta & sauce, peanut butter, soups, mac & cheese, cereal
• Holiday favorites: cranberry sauce, stuffing, green beans, cream soups, fried onions, shelf-stable milk, gravy, pie crust mix, canned pumpkin, instant potatoes
💵 Monetary Donations Welcome:
In addition to food donations, any money collected throughout October will go directly toward purchasing pantry items that are most needed by the Imperial Beach Food Pantry. This ensures we can fill gaps and provide balanced support alongside food donations
💡 Even if you can’t donate food, you can still support this effort by helping us spread the word or volunteering with the delivery team.
