Happy Trails Run Club is starting off November with a brand new loop-de-loop route from 53rd Trailhead, handcrafted by our fellow Happy Trailite Steffanie! Stuff your pockets with leftover halloween candy and show up energized because this one is sure to test your wits and wayfinding (~don't worry we'll hand out maps as uje).
We also want to give back to the community, so Happy Trails is kicking off a food/supply drive at every Saturday run in November. We're so grateful to run together, but also know a lot of our Portlanders are struggling to meet basic needs right now. Here's how we can help:

Bring any non-perishable, unopened food/toiletry/first aid supply item to our Saturday runs in November
•
At the end of the month Mo & DannyB will deliver the collected items to folks in town who need them
•
Participation is 100% optional. If you can't donate right now, come out and show support by running with us!
•
If you can't make it to a run but still want to donate items, or if you have any further questions, please DM us and we will sort it out :)
As always, ALL people, paces and experience levels are welcome to join our runs. Jog the hills, hike, whatever works for you this week! We'll regroup at intersections to make sure folks make it back to the trailhead together. The running starts at 9:05 on the DOT this week (okay okay, this never actually happens but we will try hehe)

Whichever route fits for you this week, we'll start and end all together amongst the delightful ferns, trees, and interpretive signage at the 53rd Trailhead!
• Running shoes that are no stranger to the mud
• Coffee Cup that is bold enough for a bold brew
• Sense of humor when déjà vu hits (haven't we run this already!?)
• A jacket for afterwards unless you're wanting that extra Novembrrrrrr feel
• Any non-perishable UNOPENED food items, toiletries, or first aid supplies you would like to donate!
