If you are seeking a bib for the Ted Corbitt 15K which takes place on Saturday, December 6th, please review below. The deadline to enter the lottery is Tuesday, October 28th at noon. If there are more requests than available bibs, we will use the below criteria to allocate the bibs.
1)
The member lists the New York Flyers as their running club in the NYRR portal.
2)
The member has volunteered at a New York Flyers event in the last year. ***Please list in the registration, or the chat, what event you volunteered for ***
3)
The member agrees to make their best effort to wear New York Flyers gear that shows they are a member of the New York Flyers.
4)
If a bib winner becomes injured, they agree to notify immediately so that the bib can be awarded to another member.
5)
When there are multiple members who meet the above criteria, the bibs will be awarded by random drawing.
6)
The board will have the option of selectively awarding a bib strategically if it would likely make a difference in the outcome of a team points competition.
We will post the results of the drawing in this event chat. This allows you to see where you are on the list. Please note that the bibs are non-complementary.
Important new information for bib winners: If you are in the top four, the New York Flyers will send you an email shortly after 6PM on Tuesday, October 28th. That email contains an invitation link that will allow you to register. Each winner needs to register for the race as soon as they receive the invite. If you sit on it too long, you could be closed out. Thank you!
