About
Join us at Heal The Hood in Jamaica Plain on October 26th, 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm for our zine-making workshop hosted by Haven and Amanda!
Spend time with others in a creative setting, learning how to transform your creative ideas into a zine. This is a beginner-friendly workshop; welcome to all individuals regardless of skill level.
Basic collaging materials will be provided, such as magazines, glue, scissors, etc. Feel free to bring any photos of your own that you would like to incorporate into your zine!
The event is free with a suggested donation of 10$. All donations are greatly appreciated and will go to Heal The Hood, allowing them to continue providing free resources to our community!
Zines have a rich history in allowing diverse voices to be heard through sharing writing, art, and information pertaining to various subcultures in queer communities.
Free Parking along Centre St & almost all nearby streets.
12-minute walk from Stony Brook Orange Line T Stop.
