Step into the new season with us!
On Sunday, September 21st, we’re celebrating the (almost) official first day of fall with Hike & Dine: Into the Equinox, an approx. 5-mile loop through Ann Arbor’s scenic woods and riverside. For this hike, you can definitely expect rolling terrain and nearly 400 feet of elevation gain. This moderately challenging yet scenic route keeps the legs working with steady ups and downs, great for building endurance, enjoying nature, and taking the next step in your hiking journey. Whether it’s your first Hike & Dine or your tenth, it’s a perfect training day for the Southwest Solstice Trip, or simply a beautiful way to build endurance while welcoming in fall.
We actually visited the trail to confirm parking and trail entry (because there’s construction in the area), and from what we saw, it’s going to be a really exciting hike!
After the trail, we’ll head to a welcoming Ann Arbor spot with a chill vibe and a wide selection of eats and drinks.. perfect for the best recap story telling moments after our hike, and toasting the season together.
Heads up on difficulty: Please join only if you are physically able to hike rolling hills with 300-400 ft of elevation.. but with the cooler temps, it should help make this trail much smoother to navigate.
Inbox check: Keep an eye on your email (and Spam/Junk/Promotions) for important event updates and confirmations.
Registration is required, especially for dining:
