About
The Orca Half is a comin' to town! And we know lots of you are doing it! Back in 2019, West Seattle Runner was asked to host a "Don't Look at the Finish Line" cheer station for that blessed part of the course where you pass the finish line and do an out and back before coming home. It has been so fun to continue this tradition of our cheer station! We would love your help in gathering a big group to cheer for our runners and walkers! We will do a sign making party Saturday morning the 20th for the race. Bring your cowbells and pom poms. If you are running/walking and you want a nutrition stop like the elites, we will happily host your stuff at our booth. We are supposed to be there at 8am. The first wave starts at 7:30am, so we think we would see the first runners around 8:15, but we are ready to be surprised! The course closes at noon. We really hope to get a crowd. We will make signs on Saturday after run group. Please help! If you have not been a spectator at a race before, it is really fun!
