Let's go hike and enjoy the Lewis River waterfalls!
(We might even get some early Fall colors)
8.5 miles roundtrip / 1230 feet of elevation gain for the whole length.
It's only 4 miles roundtrip to the Lower Lewis River Falls but I'd like to visit Upper and Lower Copper Creek Falls and Upper Lewis Creek Falls as well.
Crab Creek Trailhead / Parking Lot is about 90 miles from the Portland area via I-84, the toll bridge at Cascade Locks and up the Wind River highway.
A NW Forest Pass or day pass is required for parking (you can purchase at the trailhead).
Optional: We'll probably eat in Carson at the Backwoods Brewing Company afterwards.
Bring 1.5 liters of water and snacks or a lunch to eat at some point on the hike.
