Greetings Explorer, thank you for registering for programming with Allegheny Land Trust. Please find below and attached information you will need for your program.
ALL participants, adults and children, must turn in the attached waiver. You will not be allowed to participate without a signed waiver by yourself (if over 18) or a legal guardian (ages 18 and younger).

ATTIRE:
This conservation area has rugged train and rolling hills. Ticks & Poison Ivy are common in southwest PA. Please wear boots/hiking shoes, high socks, and long sleeves/pants to avoid being affected by either. Opened-toe shoes like sandals, flip-flops or Crocs are not permitted. We also do not recommend “dress shoes”. The program is outside and runs rain or shine, so please bring rain gear and appropriate layers per the forecast. As our programs are family friendly, please do not wear clothing depicting nudity or profanity.
BATHROOMS:
There are no bathrooms on-site, so please plan accordingly.
PETS:
For the safety of all involved please leave your pets at home. Service animals are welcome.
SMOKING:
For the health and safety of all involved, smoking or vaping is not permitted at ALT education events.
If you are lost or need to reach someone on the hike, call the Senior Director of Education, Julie on her cell phone at 724-255-1131. In case of true emergencies, always dial 911.

Girty's Woods Conservation Area End of Irwin Lane
Millvale, PA 15212
Drive through the gates at the end of the residential area and follow the gravel/dirt road to the top. Pass the ALT sign and you will see a staff member's vehicle already in the lot. The parking area is a little tight and we may have to double park.
PAYMENT:
$10 is due to register for the event. Registration is open until the start of the event, however space may be limited, so sign up as soon as possible.
