3-night camping trip with daily hikes in the North Cascades. Join me to check some epic trails off your bucket list and stay at the iconic diablo lake!
I have a reservation at the Colonial Creek North campground which is right on Diablo Lake. These sites are usually booked well in advance but I stumbled upon a last minute opening 😃 This is NOT backpacking. It is a drive up campsite which will be our home base, and we will do different day hikes from there (1-2 hikes per day depending on difficulty level). I will also be bringing my paddle board for the lake!
Beginners welcome! No camping or backpacking experience required. I have a large tent and some extra camping gear so if you have been wanting to try it but don't have the gear, this would be a perfect opportunity!

🥾 Nearby hiking trails: Maple Pass Loop, Blue Lake, Thunder Knob, Cutthroat Pass, Lake Ann, Sahale Arm, Hidden Lake, Desolation Peak and more!
🌊 Bring your paddle board, kayak, or floatie for the lake!
🚗 We will setup carpooling. Only two cars are allowed at the campsite. The campsite itself does not require any additional pass, but some of the trails require either the NW Forest Pass or America The Beautiful
💵 Cost: The only cost will be the campsite divided by number of people going (probably $12-20 per person) plus cost of gas to your driver

Note: Club Cascadia events are primarily for women and non-binary folks in the Seattle area, though we occasionally host co-ed events—those will be clearly marked. Keep an eye out!
