Just a quick (and friendly) disclaimer: I’m not here to push any particular app or subscription. You’re free to use Gaia GPS, onX, Apple Maps drawn in crayon — whatever works for you. The goal is simply to get familiar with one of these tools and understand how they work, so we can all feel confident navigating out there. It just so happened that we had good contacts within the company (Terry i'm talking about you) and they made it easy to get a 30-day free trial and gave access to their live master classes.
