Greetings Everyone - Join us on Sunday as we walk from Waiata Shores to Pararekau Island
🟡 Some words to Inspire you:
Sunlight filtered through the trees as Auckland Global Trekkers sets off from Waiata Shores, laughter and quiet conversation marking the rhythm of their steps. The trail curves gently along the water’s edge, offering glimpses of calm inlets and darting fantails.
Crossing to Pararekau Island feels like stepping into a secluded pocket of nature—an oasis where pūkeko strutted through reeds and the tide whispered against the shore. Sharing snacks beneath towering pōhutukawa, the group revelled in the tranquility and kinship.
Sunday doesn't rush here—it lingered, wrapped in soft breezes and scenic views, leaving everyone with sun-kissed cheeks and light hearts.
