The Great American River Clean-Up (GARCU) is ARPF’s largest annual volunteer event and is held on California Coastal Cleanup Day in concert with the California Coastal Commission. Whether you’re an individual, group, family, corporation, or high school student, they welcome you to come together and make a difference.
20+ Locations across the Parkway between Discovery Park and Nimbus Dam!
🕗 When: Check-in will begin at 8:45 AM, and we will kick off promptly at 9:00 AM (don’t be late—you won’t want to miss announcements!).
📍 Where: Northgate/Woodlake
Here’s what to bring:
✅ Water to stay hydrated
✅ Comfortable clothing you don't mind getting dirty
✅ Closed-toed shoes (i.e. trail shoes)
✅ Work/Gardening Gloves (optional)
