Join us at Cape Hatteras National Seashore for our summer camping excursion! We will be at a group campsite at Oregon Inlet Campground.
--Basic Info The group campsite can only allow 12 people maximum. So once 12 people are registered and pay their fee, we will close the event registration. The group campsite will include tables, BBQ grills, and two back in driveways for unloading camping supplies.
Only two cars will be able to park overnight at the group campsite. Others will have to park at the nearby parking lot after unloading supplies.
The campground includes showers; restrooms; pets are allowed; walking distance to the beach; and accessible drinking water.
--What to bring Below is a basic list of what you will need to bring; however, the link below is much more comprehensive:
Tent with rainfly Sand stakes Insulated sleeping pad or air mattress Pillow blankets Lunch/dinner/breakfast Flashlight/headlamp with extra batteries A cart to carry your gear to the campsite (not required) Hat, sunglasses, bug spray, and sunscreen Camping chair Portable camp stove and fuel PLEASE SEE LINK BELOW!!

--Cost Trip Cost: $20 per person (will be first come, first serve). This fee is per person, not per family or per friend group. Please register and pay the fee by June 25, 2025.

*Unless there is a lot of interest among members, we will not be organizing group rentals of kayaks and hand gliding tours. Booking these activities will be your responsibility. More information to come on these and other activities.
Overall we will gather organically each day and evening to fellowship and just hang out, but there is no mandatory participation outside of an initial meet and greet, but of course hiking leaders will be there to assist at all times.
