Due to the nature of our work, and engagement in it by you our members, London Marathon Events has allocated a number of places for Black Trail Runners members at The Big Half 2025.

About: The Big Half is a vibrant, inclusive half marathon which celebrates the diversity of London. It also celebrates the communities of the four boroughs the route passes through: Tower Hamlets, Southwark, Lewisham and Greenwich. It is a road race with 218ft of elevation. Cut off time is 4 hours. If you would like to be in with a chance of being selected to run The Big Half on behalf of Black Trail Runners, please complete the form below. The deadline for applications is 23.59pm on 22 May 2025. Successful members will be contacted on 23 May 2025.
We are a community and campaigning charity with the mission to increase the inclusion, participation and representation of people of Black ethnicity in trail running.
If financial costs associated with attending an event such as this is a barrier to access for you, please email [email protected] to find out about our race entry fund and kit loan scheme.
Black Trail Runners is a registered charity in England and Wales (1194094). Our mission is to increase the inclusion, participation and representation of people of Black ethnicity in trail running. We will prioritise this ethnic group when allocating places.
