About
Miles: ~2.5 miles🥾 Elevation: 541 ft⛰️ Trail type: Out & Back ↔️ --‐-------‐‐-------------------------------------------------------- This trail is labeled as difficult and is not a Forest Service System Trail. There would be some bushwacking involved when going through the trail. It is advised that everyone download this trail in advance before attempting to hike since there will be no cell phone coverage in the area. (For backup, physical maps are advised as well). Be prepared to do some climbing down to the falls, and there is a creek crossing to get to Montgomery Falls.Unless you have watershoes, be prepared to get your feet wet (unless the creek in this area is completely dry during this time of the year).
Parking is very limited (will discuss this more in the group chat), but the area is known to be a nice spot to relax, take pictures, and swim.
What to bring during your hike: 🥾
Trekking poles Hike shoes and water shoes 🥾 Water (at least 1 liter)🚰 Snacks and/or lunch 🥙 Download AllTrails map (bring physical map and a compass as a backup) 🗺
Any updates I read on this area, I'll provide it in the group chat.
