This is a training run so, other than a few group photos, there will be few stops. The route even minimizes traffic lights. It does run along the Brooklyn shoreline and pass many of the most beautiful sites between Central Park and the Verrazano Bridge. There are many subway stops along the way so one can catch a beautiful run across the Brooklyn Bridge and group photo in Dumbo while running as little as 2 miles.
There is no support, but there are many public bathrooms and several bodegas for water along the way. Why so warm? Winds from the North will be at our back almost the whole way. Join us this Sunday for New York’s warmest, most beautiful long winter training run. 😊
