Across the country next week, runners, walkers, and fitness enthusiasts will celebrate Thanksgiving weekend with 5Ks and other Turkey Trot and Burn the Bird races. We wanted to make sure our runners were up to snuff this Turkey Trot season with a practice 5K fun run so you can play with the distance before your Thanksgiving running events. Join Fleet Feet NYC and ASICS on Sunday, November 24th at 9:30 AM for our Turkey Trot Training Fun Run in Central Park.
This run marks the finale of our Fleet Feet NYC Fall 2024 Turkey Trot Couch to 5K Training Program. Our community will encourage each other on and cheer at the finish line for the first runner, last runner, and everyone in-between. Following our finish line festival, we'll head back to Fleet Feet Upper West Side for breakfast and celebrations.
Runners and walkers of every level are welcome; pace support and course guidance will be provided.
ASICS will also provide demos of its latest releases.
5K Course: This course will be an-out-and-back along the lower loop of Central Park Drive. Our starting line will be at the West 72nd Street Entrance of Central Park, by Strawberry Fields and the route will be reviewed in its entirety before the run.
