Join some of the MRP runners at the Western Athletics Trail Run Series 2024-25! Whether you're new to trail running or a seasoned runner, it's the perfect chance to give it a go. The series takes place on the scenic Peel heritage trail on select Sunday mornings: November 10th, November 24th, December 15th, and February 2nd.
Race distances are divided by age group:
Ages 7-8: 1k Ages 9-12: 2k Ages 13+: 5k Ages 16+: 10k (or 5k if preferred)
Courses follow an out-and-back route along the steam heritage trail, starting and finishing near Peel Harbour. The 10k race includes two laps around the car park behind the Tynwald pub.
Fees:
School kids: £2 per race or £6 for the series Attached runners: £6 per race or £20 for the series Unattached runners: £10 per race or £36 for the series Registration opens at 9:00 a.m. at the Creek Inn, with races kicking off at 10:00 a.m. Come join us for a fun and friendly event!
