An evening 5.7km or 12km social run through a couple varied East London green spaces.
Either join for the first 5.7km around Victoria Park for a delightful summer's evening run, or carry on to also take in Hackney Marshes and a bit of the Olympic Park.
Distance: total 7.54 miles / 12km (or 3.54 miles / 5.7km)
Meet: Outside Hackney Wick Overground Station
Pace: Usually 7:00mins/km+, but there’s no rush. We keep it chatty.
Gear: This route is pretty much all tarmac. We can take the runner's track around parts of Victoria Park, and a bit in the Marshes, but otherwise it's pavement, tarmac and towpath. However there is greenery and water! No bag drop. Toilets maybe possible in Vicky Park, or bushes in the Marshes if public toilets not open that late, or by Hackney Wick there's bars and Barge East.
Travel: There are bike racks around the area, and the overground will be running on a Wednesday!
