Friday Hills with Coach Erin— 7am, northern corner of the 102nd Street Transverse and East Drive
We’re mixing it up this week! To support our athletes partaking in Chase The Throne, we’ll be meeting near Harlem Hill and tackling a different type of workout:
-1mi tempo (half marathon effort)
-5min rest
-4x30 sec hill, jog down recovery
-4x45 sec hill, jog down recovery
There is also the option to hop in with the racing crew, or meet up to cheer and get some easy miles in. If you’re racing, then run the loop as fast as you can, and we’ll cheer you on. Meet at 7am for bag drop, announcements, and a quick warmup. Feel free to join us for coffee afterwards— location TBD.
No matter what your running goals are, this weekly session will help you develop better fundamentals, increase your speed and improve your form as a runner. Drop by for a variety of hill repeat sessions ranging in length from 15-90 seconds.
